Walt Wetherington
He has 30 years of experience teaching acoustic, electric and bass guitar. Walt personalizes his lessons according to the abilities, needs, and desires of the individual student. He works with his students to perfect their technique, set goals and develop their own style. Instruments and equipment of choice include Fender Strats, Fender Rivera amps, Curt Mangan strings and Dunlop picks. Jordan Magoon
His students, range in age from 10 to 50+. His patience is one of the qualities mentioned most by students and their parents. Jordan is driven to help students achieve the results they want. Using a methodology inspired by his teacher, Walt Wetherington, each student receives their instruction based on their individual needs, pace of learning and preference in music. Jordan plays Gibson guitars and uses Vox amplifiers, D’Adarrio strings, Dunlop picks. He plays with the Rhyebirds a blues-based rock band. |

Walt began playing guitar in the'60's. He began touring in 1977 with Breckenridge, a huge regional success. Walt has played with such popular groups as The Chillbillies and Gavinheart and done fill-in gigs with George Strait, opened for Don Henley and jammed with Bo Diddley. His eclectic style crosses all types of genre: blues, rock, country, Southern rock and contemporary Christian rock He is also an expert sound engineer, working with top artists like Tanya Tucker, the Atlanta Rhythm Section, the Gregg Allman Band, JD Walter, and Bill Lyerly. 
Jordan picked up his first guitar at the tender age of four years old. Now, at the ripe old age of 20, he's been a part of the Walt's Guitars and Pro Audio team for over three years. He specializes in blues-based rock’n roll and finger picking. He literally can play any instrument he picks up - and shows an expertise not found in some twice his age.
